Registered Massage Therapist
Barbara graduated from Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy School in Toronto. She is a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the Ontario College of Massage Therapists.
Barbara is able to provide the hands-on-skills needed to mobilize soft tissue and its adjoining structures by incorporating a variety of techniques and continuously developing her skills to assist in healing and overall well-being for all patients.
Barbara's practice range varies from deep tissue to lighter therapeutic work, as well as relaxation-focused treatments and pregnancy massage. She is trained in Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Craniosacral and Manual Lymph Drainage. She has experience working in a variety of cases, including but not limited to, MVA's, headaches and repetitive strain injuries. Barbara also uses posture as a guide and without proper alignment the body is not in balance; which can lead to chronic, fatique and re-occuring injuries.
Barbara will be working Tuesday 11-5, Thursday 1-8 and Saturday 10-2.
Cassie graduated from McMaster University with her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy and her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. She will be pursuing continued education in advanced manual therapy through the Canadian Orthopaedic Division of the CPA.
Maryann graduated from McMaster University in 2000 and has been treating in the private practice setting ever since. Her treatment philosophy involves using manual therapy techniques in combination with injury specific exercises to restore client function.
She has training in acupuncture through AFCI and has successfully completed her Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Exams through the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA. Maryann has completed her final Level V course. Her goal is to guide clients to optimal health while promoting injury prevention and fostering client independence.
Dodie graduated from The University Western Ontario with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and McMaster University's Physiotherapy Program. Dodie has advanced manual therapy knowledge from the courses she was involved with the Canadian Orthopedic Division of the CPA and training in Acupuncture.
Dodie has completed her intermediate manual practical exam and her final Level V course within the Orthopaedic Division.
Brandon graduated from McMaster University with his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy and his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology. He is currently pursuing continued education in advanced manual therapy through the Canadian Orthopaedic Division of the CPA. Brandon is committed to providing evidence-based, research based, client centered care with an emphasis on manual and exercise based therapy. When he is not working, Brandon enjoys playing hockey, golf and mountain biking.
Della graduated from Western Ontario University's Physiotherapy Program in 1994. She has advanced manual therapy through the Canadian Orthopaedic Division of the CPA. She has also completed her Diploma of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (RCAMPT). Della has completed her Level IV course and will be continuing with level V and her final FCAMPT exams next year.
Natalie graduated from Queen’s University with her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Prior to this, she attended McMaster University and completed her Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Natalie has completed additional certifications in advanced manual therapy practice through the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA, acupuncture and vestibular rehabilitation. She has a keen interest in global health initiatives and has worked abroad in Ukraine and Belize treating children with neurological conditions. Natalie helps her clients reach their full potential through education, manual therapy techniques and tailored exercise prescription. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, running and skiing.
